Media General’s first seed, TV3 Ghana on Wednesday morning abruptly ended playing a Phrimpong music video during a live TV interview.

The media house unfortunately discontinued airing of the Shatta Wale featured video for “Ohia” with a dramatic excuse.

TV3 in an earlier communication hinted a technical hitch for the inconvenience, but later alluded to allegations of vulgar words to back their action, a claim which was not a delight to the multiple TedEx performer.

Speaking to MzGee on the entertainment segment on TV3’s flagship Newday show, Phrimpong threw light on the lyrics for clarity – There are no vulgar words in it, ohia ma me kyɛ, to wit, poverty delays me.

This is the second time Phrimpong has suffered same fate about a video play in the Ghanaian media space, but must be added, in different context.

Watch video for Ohia, listen to lyrics and judge content for yourself.
