The Ghana Comedy Awards Returns in May 2025 for its Second Edition
The GHANA COMEDY AWARDS is back for its second edition this May, and it’s set to be bigger and better than ever! After making a solid debut in 2024, the awards have quickly become one of Ghana’s biggest entertainment events, dominating the comedy scene.
Last year’s edition, held on April 20, was a whole vibe—glitz, glamour, and nonstop laughter from Ghana’s finest comedians. Big names like Clemento Suarez, OB Amponsah, Lekzy Decomic, Jacinta, and many more took home major wins, making it a night to remember.
This year promises to be even more exciting, with a lineup of activities to celebrate comedy in grand style. According to Dennis Boateng, CEO of Ghana Comedy Awards, there will be special events dedicated to women, comedy legends, and the industry as a whole.
