DJ Lord OTB drops ‘This Is Castro’ Mix in Honor of Castro’s Birthday

Renowned Ghanaian DJ, DJ Lord OTB, paid tribute to the late Hiplife artist Castro on what would have been his birthday. Castro, born Theophilus Tagoe on May 1st, 1982, was known for his lively performances and hit songs that dominated the Ghanaian music scene. Tragically, Castro’s career came to an end in 2014 when he and a companion reportedly drowned in a jet ski accident. Despite extensive search efforts, Castro’s body was never recovered, leaving his family, friends, and fans devastated.

To honor Castro‘s memory, DJ Lord OTB curated a special mix titled “This Is Castro,” featuring some of the artist’s most popular hits. From “Seihor” to “African Girls,” the mix serves as a nostalgic reminder of Castro’s impact on Ghanaian music.
