I Write What I Feel – Kofi Kinaata shares Tip for Song Writer Winning Streak
From a hardcore rapper to a competitive Ghanaian singer, Kofi Kinaata has shared with the world his secret to winning Song Writer of The Year award for the fourth time.
The youngster who has exhibited unparalleled song writing skills in recent years revealed he puts his feelings into writing and not a follower of trends when it comes to his music.
“I don’t follow trends, I write what I feel and what people can relate to”, Kofi Kinaata made it known on the VGMA red carpet.
Kinaata singing intent was heavily premised after featuring on Castro’s highly accepted highlife joint “Odo Pa” and has since never backed down. Breaking into the songwriter category with “Confession” he has managed to prove himself worthy of the category with three other great compositions – “Susuka”, “Things Fall Apart” and “Behind The scenes”.
The musician was awarded on day one of the two-nights event – Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
