Emotional Quarme Zaggy Cries on Live Radio Following Socrate Sarfo’s Bully
Last Saturday on Okay Fm was an unfavorable feat for Ghanaian highlife artiste Quarme Zaggy, currently known Mr Lova.
The musician who was on radio tour to promote his new single “Eyhe Wo Bo” off his upcoming “Mr Lova EP” was overly humiliated and consequently broke down into tears in the studios of Neat FM on the Uncensored Talks Entertainment Show hosted by Halifax.
Ace movie director and producer, Socrate Safo a pundit on the show made some unsavory comments about the artiste for not putting in efforts after releasing his songs. He said “a serious musician won’t release a song and leave it for it to trend without promoting it”.
This statement got the artiste who felt he’s been strategic with promotions and doing enough to get his songs on radio but not seeing the results tearing, blaming the industry for not been fair to him and making it difficult for his talent to glow.
He further addressed the current crop of Ghanaian music industry stakeholders not appreciating good music and talented creatives but rather supporting zero-rated hyped songs.
