DJ Lord OTB just bagged the ‘DJ of the Year’ award at the 2024 3Music Awards, marking another huge win for the talented disc jockey. This comes after he made history last year by breaking DJ Vyrusky’s five-year winning streak at the 2023 Guinness Ghana DJ Awards. Once again, his hard work paid off, beating out big names like AD DJ, DJ Loft, DJ Vyrusky, and more.
Even though DJ Lord OTB wasn’t at the event, his team, including Reynolds Quarshie, Seli Baisie, and Nana Gyamfi Prempeh (aka Zamani), accepted the award on his behalf. Later, DJ Lord took to Facebook to share his gratitude, thanking God, his fans, his team, and 3Music Awards for the recognition. He expressed how much this win means to him, crediting his success to the support he’s received over the past decade.
The award ceremony, held on September 28, 2024, at the Palm Convention Centre, was a star-studded event with amazing performances from artists like Piesie Esther, Nacee, Akwaboah Jnr, Adina, Kweku Smoke, and Mr. Drew. It was truly a night to remember, celebrating the best in Ghanaian music.
