After 2 years of break for the yearly Kwahu Easter celebrations as a result of Covid 19 restrictions, 2022 ushered in the comeback of this memorable festival which most Ghanaians love to celebrate at Kwahu.

One major event that caught our attention is the Adom Fm Mega Street Bash that took place on the Mpraeso Palace street on the 16th of April which happened to be a Saturday. As usual, there was a lot of emerging artistes who graced the occation to open up for major acts like Kuami Eugene and Eno Barony.

One name that stood out from the lot was the young, energetic female rapper Dedebah. This young lady mounted the stage, dropped bangers after bangers amidst exciting live freestyles which awakened the crowd which seemed to be a little down as a result of prior performances from numerous unknown acts.

It was obvious they were waiting for the artistes they already know so they jam with them.

When Dedebah got introduced by one of the MC’s for the night, Don Itchi, everybody was expecting the ordinary. But after a few freestyles on stage, the crowd went into a frenzy. Dedebah proved she didnt need a hit song in order to entertain the crowd and enjoy herself as well.

Next on our list is Eno Barony. Eno came with the fire, the hit songs and the energy. The Mpraeso crowd couldn’t just get enough of her. She lived up to expectation as usual.

Here comes Kuami Eugene, the Lynx Entertainment poster boy who just shut down the show in a grand style.

It’s obvious Eno and Kuami will always kill the show because of their obvious catalogue of hit songs. But for an emerging artiste like Dedebah to just come from nowhere and shut down the place like that, she needs a major major highlight and push. She is definitely a name to watch out for.
