13-Year Old Reggae Dancehall Artiste, Vybz T, Snags 1st IRAWMA’s Nomination

Zimbabwean, Trevor Tawonezvi aka Vybz T is nominated Best Teen Entertainer in the Teen (13-year-old) category of the 37th AnnualInternational Reggae & World Music Awards (IRAWMA)in observation of “TheReggae50”, fifty years of reggae from 1968/69 to present, celebrations scheduled to be held on May 11, at the Pegasus Hotel in Kingston, Jamaica.

Reggae music is vibrantly diverse and rich in the Jamaican culture have always played a role in the African Reggae community. With only four (4) years on the music scene since 2014, Vybz T have most-recently released a mixtape titled, Word On The Streets in February 2019.

The black-tie, red carpet arrival and reception to commence at 7:00 pm and the Awards Showcase will begin promptly at 8:30pm. The IRAWMA awards is slated to be held on the day Robert/Bob Nesta Marley made his transition, and is also Mothers Day weekend.

Vybz T and Management are signed with internationally US-based 360 Creative Management Agency (CMA) Intl Starz, for Artist Development. Intl Starz have revealed some of Vybz T’s operational works for the year, and that includes an upcoming release set for May 10.

Vybz T’s recent nomination have substantiated reggae music’s relevance within international households.
