IJM, Bible Society of Ghana to hold maiden National Justice Conference
International Justice Mission (IJM) in collaboration with the Bible Society of Ghana is organizing the National Justice Conference in Accra, Ghana. The first of it’s kind in the history of the nation.
The National Justice Conference is a 1-day event that seeks to bring together the church, the various arms of government, Civil Society Organisations, students and other members of the society to have a national conversation on justice with a narrow focus on child trafficking.
The conference will consist of plenary and workshop sessions that will look at various issues of injustice, Ghana’s justice system and child trafficking. A communique will be released at the end of the day to highlight key action points from the entire conversations for future engagements with state and non-state actors.
The President of the Republic, His Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo-Addo, and other key national leaders have been invited as keynote speakers.
The Conference is slated for Thursday, 5th September 2019. The venue for the conference is the University of Ghana, Bank of Ghana Auditorium. The conference is open to the general public and it’s free to attend the event.
